when compiling vasp, i am getting error:
make: warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete.
what should i do for this and what it means?

It means you have clock skew. ;-) That's very common on systems using NFS but no NTP synchronisation.
You can happily ignore this.
(Or your build may be incomplete! X-D
